Do you believe that a child can sense the absence of his/her parents; even at a young age? I believe so. Isabelle has been calling out Pa Pa the entire of yesterday & today. She would absolutely refuse to call out Pa Pa no matter how he begged her. But a couple of days before D left for ZH she started making sounds of Pa. This also happened in the early 6 months when Isabelle was learning to speak and D was away. Somehow I sense that she misses her daddy and it breaks my heart especially to see her running to D's study room crying out Pa Pa. Isabelle knows that she can always find daddy there, but now it is just an empty room... I think she looked a bit confused to see the bareness of the room.
What Isabelle is missing out in D's absence, I promise to fill in. I will constantly remind her of daddy's love and presence.
In the meantime, I hope there comes a time she will call out Pa Pa when D talks to her on the phone. I am sure he will be so happy to hear that!
