Today 20th November, I finally get down to blogging. I've always wanted to start up a blog esp for Isabelle, to document her milestones, her growth and how much joy she has brought into our lifes, and for her to know how much we love her. Unfortunately I procastinated....well, till today of course. So I guess I will have to spend the next few weeks and months back tracking...but as the saying goes, better late than never.
11th April this year, D and I became first time parents. Its a new journey for us, full of challenges and hard work, but without a doubt, full of happiness. Isabelle has brought us so much joy, its an indescribable feeling. Why did I suddenly choose to start my blog today? I don't know, but I guess it felt like a new new journey. D will be starting a new job on Monday which has no travel. Close friends will know that D has been travelling and away from home from the time I knew I was pregnant till Isabelle was 7 months old. It was a really tough time for me, looking after the baby on my own every night, juggling my work, doing the weekly groceries, etc etc etc. Though I did not have much personal time to myself, what upset me most was we could not be a complete family doing things together and that D was missing out on Isabelle's milestones. So finally, from today onwards....we will be together and I am really looking forward.
OK, I got to stop blogging now, need to wake Isabelle up from her nap...to be continued :)
