25 Nov..., I was on leave and so took the chance to bring Isabelle to Raffles City for Dora & The Big Pinata Show. We decided on the 7pm show, since the 1pm show would clash with her nap time. Unfortunately it rained today, and traffic on the CTE was horrible slow (I think, rain or shine, traffic is always bad anyway, but the rain just made it worse). To add to it, Isabelle is outgrowing her car seat, so she was absolutely cranky, and crying throughout the journey. Sigh!
Alas, we arrived at Raffles City..., Isabelle opened her eyes wide, excited to see all the wonderful lights at the mall, so many people around her, and well music. She loves music. And she absolutely enjoyed the show. Honestly, I did question myself if I was crazy to bring a 7.5 month old to a show, after all, what can she understand from it all??? But I guess, kids these days are more intelligent than we ourselves expect. She kept her eyes fixed at the stage, not a single blink. We could not distract her to get a photo. She enjoyed the show.
So am I planning for more shows now? You bet! I hope I can bring her to watch Mr Men at Takashimaya and Strawberry Shortcake at Centerpoint. Hope my work schedule permits, cos though the 7pm show worked fine, I think it is still a bit tiring for her. She was dead knocked out and slept in the car, only to be awaken when we reached home. So cross fingers I will be able to take off to bring her for the 4pm shows!
