Who would have thought that planning for a birthday could be so difficult? I had started out early..., yes, I had it all in my mind, how we should celebrate it etc, where to source the balloons, cakes etc from.... since Dec! Blush!!! Yes.....3 months in advance, and yet I still find myself scurrying about with last minute arrangements till today.
Well, finally today, I think almost everything is in place. I'm still waiting for kidzpartystore to confirm my balloon package, but I think they should be available. I had initially thought that a bouquet of balloons will do, but hubby thinks we should have more, more, more balloons.
And so...., let me quickly record down what we have for Isabelle's birthday.
Venue: Bakerzin at UE Square, Robertson Quay
Guest: 30- 35 pax of family and close friends
Food: Salad, fish & chips, pasta, roast chicken, macaroons, choc profiterole, iced passion fruit tea
Cake: Home made cupcakes from Charlotte Grace
Balloons: Birthday bouquet and 35 pink, lilac & white latex balloons from kidzpartystore
Crossing fingers that everything goes smoothly this Sunday, that the deco will look fine (haven't decided whether to let the balloons float loosely in the air or do them in bundles), that the food will be good (Bakerzin .... please do not fail us), that the cake will be yummy, that our guest will have a good time, but most of all Isabelle will have beautiful memories to look back on of her 1st birthday.
On a side note, Isabelle is starting to walk independently now. Keep practicing my baby, and looking forward to see you do your walk about on your 1st birthday!
